"Until now you have not asked for anything in MY NAME.  Ask and you will receive, and your 'JOY' will be complete."
John 16:24

Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long!

It is natural and honorable of you to pray for the needs of others.  One of the first things you learn as a Follower of JESUS is to carry one another's burdens in prayer.  When somebody tells you their story or you read a note asking for prayer, the HOLY SPIRIT in you is stirred with compassion and empathy for them.  You pray because you know the LORD hears you and "your 'JOY' is made complete" as HE moves in the behalf of others.

You must also be sure to pray in your own behalf every day.  Some people think that praying for themselves is a selfish thing to do, but the LORD expects you to talk to HIM about your life and your needs.  Since you know that prayer is mostly just conversation, you must pray every day to build and continue your relationship with your HEAVENLY FATHER.  

Adam walked and talked with the LORD every day in the garden, you can do the same thing whether you pray on our knees [my personal favorite], while reading the Bible [my personal favorite], while driving to and from work or school [my personal favorites] and even while you take a prayer walk [my personal favorite].  The point is, you are to be a person of prayer 24/7 [my personal favorite] as you learn to pray continuously, you guessed it, [my personal favorite].  As you see the LORD answer your requests, "your 'JOY' is made complete".

Your confidence is that your HEAVENLY FATHER is always listening to you and that HE always answers your requests throughout your day and life, therefore, "your 'JOY' is made complete".

Get your 'JOY'' ON each day and pray for others, pray for yourself, then stand back and watch HIM move as you discover how "your 'JOY' is made complete"  Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD
