"To
HIM who is able to keep you from falling and to present you
before HIS glorious presence without fault and with great 'JOY'" Jude
1:24 "
To HIM who is able to keep you
from falling.." What an incredible concept and the desire of every
serious child of GOD. There is someone who is able and
willing to preserve your life from failure due to personal sins, and fulfill the desires
of your heart to live a victorious life, bringing liberty and freedom to you. This
fact, fills your life with the 'JOY' of the LORD!
"To
HIM..." Think of it, rather, think of HIM.
Jude says; "To HIM". These two words
explain to you who it is that is responsible for keeping you, and keeping you from falling
into sin. "To HIM"!!!! You can
never give HIM enough praise for HIS
Greatness, Majesty and Glory.
"who is able to keep
you..........." All the effort and determination you can muster
will never be enough to keep you from falling as you just do not have this power within
yourself. Some days you have great victories, other days you falter no matter how your
mind is made up to do and be right before the LORD.
Only JESUS can give you daily victory over sin, because it is
"HE who is able to keep you..."
"..keep
you from falling" It is so remarkable to understand that JESUS
wants to keep you from falling into sin. JESUS is not
in Heaven just waiting for you to blow it, no, HE is actively
helping you to live in victory over sin if you will just let HIM
each day. Let
me share with you the story of a man who falling off a cliff caught a single branch on the
side of the cliff, temporarily breaking his fall. In extreme
desperation, he called out; 'Hello, is there anybody who can hear me and help me?!"
JESUS shouts out to him; "Yes, I
can catch you."
"Who are you?", the man calls out.
"It
is JESUS, let ME catch you',
says the LORD.
The man is excited and yells;
"Yes, LORD, I knew I could count on you, what do you
want me to do?"
JESUS said to the man;
"Just let go and I will catch you."
The
desperate man yells; "Is there anyone else up there
who can help me?!" The
LORD is never far from you or uninvolved in your daily life
if you just allow HIM to be. "To HIM
who is able to keep you from falling.." , brings you so much 'JOY'
and praise you cannot remain silent or passive. Open your heart today and
invite HIM to walk next to you and keep you from falling.
Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD! |
