"Instead of their shame MY people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting 'JOY' will be theirs."  Isaiah 61:7

Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long!

Instead of their shame - It is easy to experience guilt for a shortcoming or impropriety which you may have committed sometime in your life.  This emotion is an extremely powerful force that can work against you.

The emotion of shame can control your living through paralyzing memories, self doubts and fears. Without respect to the number of years you have walked faithfully with the LORD, particular events and experiences ranging from deliberate acts of sin to a simple inability to cope with a situation in your life, can bring sweeping emotions upon you without warning.

Forgiving yourself and forever being free from your shame seems to be an impossible task when you rely on your own strength.  Only the LORD can set you free from your shame, and HE delights to release you from your self-imposed trap.

Instead of their shame - HE gives you a double portion...and everlasting 'JOY' is yours!  The LORD pours out one blessing after another in your life, even the double portion is yours in JESUS Name!  Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD!
