COME
BEFORE THE LORD IN HIS |
"Worship
the LORD with gladness;
come before HIM with joyful
songs." Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long! The Public Praise & Worship Relationship With JESUS: PART ONE "Worship the LORD with gladness" is a profound revelation for many people on what Praise and Worship is really like. When David wrote these words he was accustomed to both private and public settings in the Believer's life of Praise and Worship. When he was tending to his father's flock of sheep in the mountains all alone, he was accustomed to private times of Praise and Worship. On the Jewish Holy Days, he would like all Jews go to Jerusalem and present himself before the GOD of Israel in public Praise and Worship. It was David's custom, (as well as JESUS' custom by the way), to maintain both a private and public Praise and Worship lifestyle. Praise and Worship are not times of sorrowful songs and feelings. They are times of gladness and 'JOY', coming before the LORD with joyful songs. It is not enough to have only a private relationship with the LORD! You must also have a healthy public relationship with HIM as well. Be sure to gather with other Follower's of JESUS for public times of praise and worship. Hebrews 10:25 These times encourage you and all those gathered together. The LORD has designed that we would have fellowship with others who love HIM and offer public praise and worship regularly. Our public fellowship with the LORD and HIS people allow us to carry one another's burdens in prayer to GOD. Galatians 6:2 Our Gatherings may be any suitable location including a building, home, or out of doors. You may have been emotionally hurt in a Church Group in the past, but don't let those bad experiences cause you to never try again. Your mother likely burned dinner on at least one occasion, but she cooked dinner time and time again after that bad experience. Don't you quit on your public praise by turning completely away, trust GOD to help you find HIS real Church. There is great 'JOY' in obeying GOD'S Will. Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD! |
