The 'JOY' of the LORD is our strength!  This 'JOY' Verse declares;  "Worship the LORD with gladness; come before HIM with joyful songs."  This Verse is also about your private relationship with y-o-u-r PERSONAL LORD.

As HIS Follower, you must be careful to never fall into the trap that a private relationship with JESUS is nothing more than Sunday Morning, Sunday Evening, Wednesday Evening, Choir Practice and all the Men's and Women's Meetings you attend.  Actually, such an itinerary will do little more than wear you out or burn you out.  At that rate, you may never have a private relationship moment with HIM, just an outward only religion!

If you do not pay careful attention, you could become like Martha in your 'busyness' and miss out on the most important thing, to be with the LORD.  Luke 10:38-41  Keep guard on your heart to always move away from outward only religion and run toward maintaining your personal relationship with HIM.  

Listed here are a few words that describe what actions we must take against outward only religion that gets in our way of relationship with the LORD.  Be sure to notice the intensity of these words -  

"discard, cashier, cast, chuck, jettison, junk, reject, scrap, throw away, throw out"

Religion - - outward only - working for the LORD'S acceptance.

Relationship - - internal only - accepting HIS unconditional love.

Be sure to "discard, cashier, cast, chuck, jettison, junk, reject, scrap, throw away, throw out" all that would keep you from having and maintaining freedom from an outward only religion. Scripture tells us; "Come near to GOD and HE will come near to you..."  James 4:8  Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD!
