"Worship
the LORD
with gladness;
come before HIM
with joyful songs." Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long! The Public Praise & Worship Relationship With JESUS: PART TWO "Worship the LORD with gladness" is a profound revelation for many people on what Praise and Worship is really like. When David wrote these words he was accustomed to both private and public settings in the Believer's life of Praise and Worship. When he was tending to his father's flock of sheep in the mountains all alone, he was accustomed to private times of Praise and Worship. On the Jewish Holy Days, he would like all Jews go to Jerusalem and present himself before the GOD of Israel in public Praise and Worship. It was David's custom, (as well as JESUS' custom by the way), to maintain both a private and public Praise and Worship lifestyle. "Worship the LORD with gladness and come before HIM with joyful songs." No sorrowful experiences here, just times of gladness and 'JOY' as you gather together with others as HIS Living Church before the LORD in Praise and Worship. Tough word here: 'You do not have to agree with HIS Will, HE gave you free will to exercise at your own discretion. You can walk outside the "blessings" HE provided for you.' Why crawl on the floor on your belly, when HE gave you feet to walk and run with? Don't go your own way for personal reasons, it is better to obey HIS Will and live in HIS blessings by gathering together regularly for public Praise and Worship times. You
may be tempted to say; "I have grown up in the LORD,
and the gathering together with other Believers is too much trouble,
and I just don't need to any longer." How about the one who
is not yet grown up? One of the reasons to gather together is
for the other people. Philippians 2:1:16 You
were not saved for yourself alone! If this were not so, all your
work here on earth would be finished the day you put your trust in JESUS
Name.
You
are still here in order that you can help your family, friends and
even strangers find their way to the knowledge of the love of GOD
and HIS plan of salvation, healing
and deliverance for them. The circle must go on, and you are
called by JESUS to do your part
here and now till HE calls you
Home to be with HIM forever.
Consider
what happened to this woman because she looked for her desperate
answers in attending a Church Service:
One
Sunday Morning a woman stood in the Service to give the following
testimony: "Last Sunday Morning I was heading home to take
my life. I no longer wanted to live in my constant anguish and
situation. I prayed; "LORD,
if you are real prove it to me before I arrive home. Nobody
cares if I am alive or dead! Help me this morning The
'JOY' of the LORD
fell upon the Congregation that day as they discovered once again why
together, they are the the LORD'S
