"Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our LORD.  Do not grieve, for the 'JOY' of the LORD is your strength."
Nehemiah 8:10

Today, being Monday, the first busy day of your week, we pray that you get your 'JOY' ON and praise the LORD with us, the whole week long!

The LORD never planned for you to live without HIS 'JOY'!  The LORD only has one plan on the topic of 'JOY'....don't try to live your life without or apart from HIS 'JOY'.  

No matter your personal circumstances and struggles, it is the 'JOY' of the LORD that will get you through them to victory.  The only other alternative, is to live in daily defeat and allow the enemy of your soul to overrun your life.

On the day that President Ronald Regan was shot by an assassin, Doctors and Nurses reported that while they were rushing President Regan into the Operating Room, he was telling them jokes.  Even though his life was on the line, nobody could take his 'JOY' away from him.  

President Regan knew that the 'JOY' of the LORD was his strength, and helped him recover physically quickly.  It was also the 'JOY' of the LORD that kept him from being afraid to face his daily responsibilities as President, especially going out in public not long after his recovery.  It was the 'JOY' of the LORD that healed his emotions and destroyed the enemies plan to cripple him with fear for the rest of his life.

It is the 'JOY' of the LORD as your strength that allows you to live in health and healing.  A merry heart is good medicine, HIS 'JOY' in you can help keep you above the constant attack of many illnesses and diseases that are in the world today.  The LORD often provides HIS Divine Healing to the one living in HIS 'JOY'!  Today and everyday, live your life in the 'JOY' of the LORD!
